I knew Rysz for many years - in fact I ended up being his Brother-in-law. I remember many 'musical' conversations ... & arguments. I vaguely remember us going to see Cher for 2 nights running in Birmingham - that was fun, but a looong story :) We went to see the reformed Trapeze & ended up meeting Glenn Hughes & Mel Galley - I was a bit starstruck - Rysz was blitzed! I don't often think of Rysz drinking much, but when he did....blimey! I hadn't seen him for a while in his last years & I don't know how I would have handled seeing him like that - he was always so fresh, clever, funny & great company. I think it would've broken my heart so I stayed away. Cowardly, I know, but I'd rather remember him as he was. You'll be massively missed mate - gone far, far too soon :( I still can't believe it.
